He was predeceased by: his son Greg; his parents, Eugene Liewer and Cecilia "Sue" Liewer; his former wife Cindy; and his son Gregory.
He is survived by: his wife Tamara of Fremont; his sisters, Anita Morrell of Fountain Valley, California, Mary Jane Weber (Duane) of Elloree and Gloria Duenwald (Bill) of Hoven; his children, Patricia Zuniga (Joe) of Meridian, Idaho, Steven Liewer (Keiko) of Omaha, Joan Eik of Big Timber, Montana and Scott Liewer; and his stepchildren, Linn Golter (Bill) of Omaha, Barry Weber of Livermore, California, Lori Jennings (Bob) of Fremont, Nebraska, June Smith (Sheldon) of Sedro-Woolley, Washington and Rod Weber (Michelle) of Weehawken. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and step-grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
