It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald E. Burns of Fremont, Nebraska, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie May'Nash'Burns and Florence May'Nash'Burns; his siblings, Robert and Sherry; and his cousin Jeffrey Nash.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Patterson of Fremont; his children, Thomas Burns (Angela) of Omaha and Debra Myers (Joe) of St. Cloud, MN.; and his pet Susie.
