He is survived by: his wife Debbie Minter of Fremont; his daughters, Melissa Knapp of Hastings, NE and Andrea Phifer of Fremont; his siblings, David Phifer (Val) of Mannford, OK, Fred Phifer of Harlan, IA, Jeffrey Phifer of Lincoln, NE, Michael Phifer of Council Bluffs, IA, Alice Hemmingsen (Scott) of Audubon, IA and Hyla Ann Barnett (Bob) of Aurora, CO; and his grandchildren, Dillon, Destani, Chloe and Serenity Knapp. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
