He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine Nelson (Schnell); his sister Linda Thayer (Nelson); and his parents, Allan Nelson and Trude Nelson. He is survived by: his children, Tracey Nelson, Jim Nelson and Nancy Christensen; his brother Terry Nelson; and his grandchildren, Josh Nelson, Jacob Nelson, Zach Christensen and Sarah Nelson. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
