He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Kluge and Clara 'Eggers Kluge; his wife Sally; his son-in-law Lyle Westphalen; and his sister Elaine Harms.
He is survived by: his daughters, Becky Westphalen (Reed Muller) of Fremont and Patty Popken (Steve) of Scribner; his grandchildren, Abby Smeal (Eric), Ashley Westphalen (Nate Tolle), Adam Popken (Karlie Robertson) and Tyler Popken (Katlyn); his great grandchildren, Merrit, Bennit Smeal, Amerah Tolle, Thomas Popken and Olivia Walker; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Martin of Valparaiso, Anne Wegner of Scribner, Douglas McCabe of Fremont and Clifford Wegner of Fremont.
Memorials are suggested to the church or the Scribner Volunteer Fire or Rescue Departments.
