It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bonnie Schilke of Fremont, Nebraska, born in Watertown, South Dakota, who passed away on April 29, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Yates and Lou Yates (Rund); and her husband Neil W. Schilke. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Novak (Brad); her grandson Nicholas Neil Novak; her sister Peg Campbell (Ben) of Boise, ID; her siblings-in-law, Dale Schilke (Brenda) of Oklahoma, David Schilke (Joyce) of Elkhorn, NE, Marge Johnson and Roberta Schilke of Fremont; her pet Tizzy; and also Aljean Ostrand of Stillwater, Minnesota. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; so many close friends that became her family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Salem Lutheran Church and Schilke-Novak Kids Sports Trust.
