She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Ruddy and Bernice Ruddy; and her former husband Melvin Holmquist. She is survived by: her siblings, Crystal Altman of York, NE, Larry Bahner (Vicky) of Donna, TX and Rene Yonkie (Wayne) of Estes Park, CO; her children, Eric May of Grand Island, NE and Jill Colgan (Rick) of Nebraska City, NE; her granddaughter Laura Thompson (Andy) of Manhattan, KS; her children, Molly Nicola (Bernie) of Wahoo, NE, Patrick and Emily Bachteler (Vincent) of Aubrey, TX.; her sisters-in-law, Sherry Stohs of Cedar Rapids, IA and LaVonne May of Bennington, NE; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte Thompson, James Nicola, Colgan Thompson and Eleanor Nicola. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
