With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anita Kracl of Fremont, Nebraska, born in Wisner, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2024 at the age of 99. Though Anita may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Anita leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Pestel and Flora Pestel (Krueger); her husband Raymond Kracl; and her brother Dale Pestel. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Kracl (Holly) of Eudora, KS and Carmen Hood (Richard) of Omaha. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (815 N Broad St, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
