She was predeceased by: her parents, Gail Scott and Delores Scott (Hartmann); and her siblings, Wilson, Shawn Scott and Beverly Wunderlich.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Colgan; her children, Derick (Jill) of Nebraska City, NE, Erin of Yankton, SD, Anne (Dave) of Ventura, CA and Heather (Phil) of Sioux Falls, SD.; and her sisters, Delores Ann Soukup of Lincoln, NE and Beth Scott of Harlan, IA.
Memorials are suggested to Milliken Park or Linden Elementary School Libraries for children's books.
