She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph and Lenora'Wittmershouse'Hurt; her husband Alfred Sick Jr. Alberta; and her brother Francis Hurt. She is survived by: her sons, David Sick (Carolyn) of Smithville, MO. and Steven Sick (Cindy) of Fremont; her grandchildren, Kristien Simons, Jr. (Kenneth) of Blair and Emma Sick of Merriam, KS.; her stepgranddaughters, Nikki Beatty (Chad) of Fremont and Amy Vyhlidal of Winter Springs, FL.; her great grandchildren, Raylan David Simons and Briggs Charles Simons; her stepgreat-granddaughter Emily Beatty; and her sister Beverly Weishahn (Larry) of Beatrice.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Salem Lutheran Church (401 E Military Ave, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the 'Alfred Sick Jr. Agriculture Education Memorial Scholarship' awarded annually at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
