He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sindt and Thyra Sindt (Robinson); his brother Wilbur (Gloria); his son Shannon Sindt; his daughter-in-law Polly Sindt; and his great grandchild Aubree Sindt.
He is survived by: his wife Jolene Bergman; his sons, Don Sindt of Lincoln, NE, Doug Sindt of Franklin, NE, Steve Sindt (Kim) of Inavale, NE, Mike Sindt (Brenda) of Scottsbluff, NE and Justin Sindt (Holly) of Elm Creek, NE; and his sister-in-law Janea Kahrs (Bill) of Bloomington. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hutchins Funeral Home (1402 M St, Franklin, NE 68939). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Evangelical Free Church (1705 I St, Franklin, NE 68939). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (619 15th Ave, Franklin, NE 68939).
