He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorance Bower and Bessie Bower (Field); his wife Verna Mae Walker; his brother Jack; his siblings-in-law, Betty Bower, Orville Walker, Donald Walker and Rod Liberty; and his parents-in-law, Alva and Bessie Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Tunender (Stephen) of Bartlett, NE and Michael Bower (Shelly) of Franklin, NE; his grandchildren, Cody, Alisha Bower, Monique, Stephen Jr. and MaKayla Tunender; his great grandchild Michael Pizzuto; his sisters, Shirley Liberty of Emporia, KS and Marie Shelinbarger of Greenwich, KS; and his siblings-in-law, Eldon Walker of Oswego, KS, Edward Walker of Agusta, KS, Necia Uden of Naponee, KS and Sharon Walker of Agusta, KS.
