He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard R. Whitefoot and Hilda Whitefoot (Samway); his daughter Cami; his brother Ronald; and his sister-in-law Lois Whitefoot.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Henke; his daughter Kimberly Hord (Stacey) of Omaha; his grandchildren, Derek (Erica), Alexa and Gabrielle; his daughter Kelli Shaner (Jeff) of Fort Calhoun; and his grandchildren, Cameron, Ethan and Morgan. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces; extended family and many friends.
