He is survived by: his wife Pamela Jane Kneifl of Hartington; his children, Michelle Nissen, Brenda Nissen of Long Beach, CA, Angela Brescia (Ed) of Torrance, CA and Robert Nissen of Yankton, SD; his grandchildren, Donald St (Kristen), Johnathan Shaffier of Davenport, Ed Brescia, Veronica Serrato (Tony) of Apple Valley, CA, Izabella Nissen and Elizabeth Nissen of Yankton, SD; his great grandchildren, Claire, Daniel Johnson, Ava, Maisie Shaffier, Tony and Grant Serrato; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Nielsen of Sioux Falls, SD and James Nissen (Deb) of Steinbach. He is also survived by two aunts and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
