He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa (Kleinschmit) and Edward Lange Sr.; and his sisters, Rainaldes Schulte (Harold), Sylvia Loecker (Leander) and Theresa Stappert, Sr. (James).
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn F. Zitka; his children, Michael Lange (Lisa) of Mission Hill, SD, Terry Lange of Fordyce, NE, Doug Lange of Norfolk, NE, Karen Lange of Omaha, NE and Lisa Olnes of Yankton, SD; his grandchildren, Trevor, Tyler Lange, Isaac, Luke, Timothy and Maria Olnes; his siblings, Colette Koch (Jerry) of Fordyce, NE, Jeannie Schieffer of Crofton, NE, Linus Lange (June) of Bow Valley, NE and Edward Jr. Lange (Bernadette) of Hartington, NE; and his brother-in-law Loren Schieffer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to local Catholic schools.
