She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Paschal and Evangeline Morse Paschal; her daughter Anita Honey; and her brothers, Vincent Paschal and William Paschal.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph O. Hamel; her children, Richard Hamel (Nancy) of Lawrence, Gerald Hamel (Anita Tourigny) of Seattle, David Hamel (Cheri) of Marysville, Kansas and Candace Hamel (Dave Jackson) of Seattle, Washington; her sister Priscilla "Pat" Sumearll of Plainville; and her sister-in-law Marge Paschal (William). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Horton United Methodist Church and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
