He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Simon and Frances Simon (Morrell); his mother-in-law Mary Burton; his brother John Simon; and his brother-in-law Jim McNeely.
He is survived by: his wife Cecilia of Falls City; his children, Katie Milius (Greg) of Lincoln, Dan Simon (Kristi) of Falls City, Nicole Georges (Thomas) of Rulo and Mary Simon (Cody Acree) of Hardin, MO; his grandchildren, Keegan, Ceci, Parker Milius of Lincoln, Jax Simon, Colton, Justin Reiss of Falls City, Peyten, Hadlee, Millie Georges of Rulo, Bentley and Bo Acree of Hardin, MO; his siblings, Nancy Kelly (Ron) of Falls City, Jannie McNeely of Falls City and Mike Simon (Lorna) of Falls City; his father-in-law Dr. Thomas Burton of Falls City; his sister-in-law Cindy Kopf (Tom) of Falls City; and also William "Bill" Schock. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to family choice for later designation.
