He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna Barnett and Wesley Barnett; his daughter Mary Chris Danbach; his former wife Mary Chris Barnett; his sisters, Patty Ann Barnett and Mary Jane Burton; his grandson Seth Hernandez; and his stepdaughters, Pennie Scates and Shawna Genuick.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle Barnett; his daughters, Vicki Barnett (Michael Wilcox) of Oceanview, Toni Lovelady (Larry) of Hiawatha, KS and Angie Hernandez (Rudy) of St. Joseph; and his sister Faye Brown of St Joseph. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are requested to the Missouri Veterans Home, Cameron, MO.
