He was predeceased by: his sisters, Dorothy Carlton of Torrance, Florence Swain of Sioux Falls and Jane Kucera (Wally) of North Platte; his great grandchild Easton Vonderschmidt; his sister Imelda Koopman of Marjorie Koopman; and his nephew John Swain.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; and his children, Jean Hodge (Mark) of Falls City, Jerry Koopman (Laura) of Falls City and Carla Bachman (Alan) of Bentonville. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
