She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Vogele and Mae Vogele (Palmer); her husband Howard Zimmerman; and her siblings, Charles Vogele and Ruth Briggs.

She is survived by: her children, Mike (Jane) of Marysville, KS and Cindy Dummermuth (Richard) of Olathe, KS; her granddaughters, Natalie Furniss and Angela Melvin; her friend Francis Feldhausen of Marysville; and her sister Carol Sparr (Ted) of Red Oak, IA.. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
