She was predeceased by: her parents, William John and Bertha Honea (Kuker); her husband William S. Carpenter; and her siblings, Orville, Marvin, Owen, Howard Honea and Opal Duncan.
She is survived by: her children, Marlin (Kelly) of Falls City, Marlene Honea of Carbondale, KS and Charlene Chellew (Ron) of Hiawatha, KS. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
