He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart Raney and Cora Raney (Vinsonhaler); his wife Mary Lou Howard; and his siblings, Ben, Jim, Harold Raney, Edith Nissen and Lula Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Easterwood (Jim) of Dawson, Jeannie Fitzpatrick (Pat) of Clayton, GA and Randy (Debbie) of Shubert; and his sister Lorreta Housh (Tom) of Sierra Vista, AZ. He is also survived by five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
