With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gertrude Hays of Falls City, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 19, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gertrude may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gertrude touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Watson and Ollie Watson (Butler); and her husband Duane C. Hays.
