It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis N. Merz of Falls City, Nebraska, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson N. Merz and Caroline T. Merz (Faller); his sister Carol Frederick; and his grandchildren, Tanner Merz and Amanda Meyer.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Walton of Falls City; and his children, Sherry Bennett (Dennis) of Gretna, NE, Angie Moore of Hemet, CA, Marc Merz (Sally) of Falls City and David Merz (Lori) of Kissimmee, FL. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 7 siblings, and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family's choice with a later local designation.
