It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Heusman of Falls City, Nebraska, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on April 4, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Heusman; her daughter Kristi Aguilar; her stepson Darin Bouc; her parents, Marvin Bratt and Mary "Pearl" Bratt; her siblings, Arthur "Dale" Bratt, Kathy Van Slyke (Leon) and Sharon Budt; her mother-in-law Laverta Emshoff; and her brother-in-law Mike McAuliffe.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Heusman (Wendy), Kevin Heusman (Marissa), Kellie Swartz, Teresa "Trish" Bessey (Jeff) and Jayda Furtado; her son-in-law Benito Aguilar; her grandchildren, Trevor, Bailey, Kevin, KayLee, Alexa, Jadeyn, Jeriah, Eliana, Savana, Nolan, Nia, Gage and Baron; and her sister-in-law Jill McAuliffe. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Good News Assembly of God Church (601 Reavis St, Falls City, NE 68355). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Nemaha Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice for future designation.
