She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Mussman and Viola Mussman (Pfister); her husband Francis Horky (Pete) of Michael's Catholic Church; and her parents-in-law, Thomas and Margaret Horky.
She is survived by: her children, Julia Kriesel (Kent) of Hebron, NE, Jeffrey Horky (Shawna) and Jennipher Barber (Kent) of Fairbury, NE; her grandchildren, Reid (Cassi), Thomas (Brooke), Joseph Horky, Andrea Kriesel, Heather Kalkwarf (Kyle), Miranda Pollman (Trent) and Michaela Loontjer (Brian); her great grandchildren, Kasen, Brayden Kalkwarf, Carter, Riggs Horky, Elise, Lauren, Reece Pollman, Olivia, Hadley and Beckett Loontjer; and her sister Donna Boeka. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home (2414 H St, Fairbury, NE 68352). A rosary was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (805 F St, Fairbury, NE 68352).
