He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Richtarik and Helen Richtarik (Belohlavy); his siblings, Frank Richtarik, Delores Girmus and Lorraine Douglass; and his great grandchild Samuel Norris.

He is survived by: his former wife Michelle Curtis; his children, Jason Richtarik of Grand Island, Rustin Richtarik of Lincoln, Kristina Norris (Shawn) of Hastings and Jennifer Richtarik of Fairbury; his grandchildren, Sydni Johnson, Blake Norris, Jordan Norris of Hastings and Drake Richtarik of Fairbury; his great grandchild Skylynn Norris of Hastings; his sister Joy Doty of Lincoln; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Douglass of Lincoln, Eugene Girmus and Joyce Richtarik of Wilber. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
