He was predeceased by: his parents, Glyn Skidmore and Lurline Skidmore; his brother David Glyn Skidmore; his parents-in-law, Harry and Joyce Heidelk; and his brother-in-law Roger Judd.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Skidmore (Heidelk); his daughters, Allison Bell (Jake) of Omaha, Anna Skidmore and Fiancée Kylon Fett of Princeton; his siblings, Stephen Skidmore (Becky) of Stanton, KY, Jonathan Skidmore (Wilma) of Stanton, KY, Janice Judd of Fairbury and Glynda Skidmore of Stanton, KY; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Heidelk of Lincoln, Bruce Heidelk (Mike Hoskins) of Keaau, HI and Jerry Heidelk of Grand Island. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials have been established to Jefferson County Speedway or American Cancer Society.
