She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Lemmon and Beulah Lemmon (Thornburg); her siblings, Delbert Lemmon, Tim Lemmon and Joyce Nutz; and her brothers-in-law, Vernon Eden and Mike Orwen.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Kapke; her children, Paul Robert of Omaha, Katherine Lemmon and Kate Kapke (Allan Hussmann) of Fairbury; her sisters, Linda English (Richard) of Fairbury, Susan Lemmon of Fairbury, Donna Walenta (Dan) of Frankfort, MI, Ardyth Orwen of Beatrice, NE, Tamara Bulin of Beatrice, NE, Connie Priefert (Dick) of Eagle, NE and Evelyn DaLao (John) of Lincoln, NE; and her brother-in-law Lawrence Nutz of Fairmont, NE. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews and countless extended family members and friends.
A memorial has been established to Madeline's favorite charity, Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
