It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd D. Rippe (Fairbury, Nebraska), born in Steele City, Nebraska, who passed away on August 15, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Herman and Leta Laura Rippe (Roelfs); his wife Janice Helen Meyer; and his sister Eldora Sasse (Leonard). He is survived by: his great-uncle Lloyd; his sons, Steven of Beatrice and Jason (David Wright) of Houston, Texas; his stepgrandchildren, Jace and Ellie Wright of Houston; his nephew Kevin (Barb Sasse) of Diller; his children, Taylor, Kaleb, Kaden and Emma; and his great-nephews, Karter, Riley, Elliot Sasse, John, Kaleb and Kaden Rupprecht. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Due to the circumstances related to COVID-19, there will be no lunch after the gravesite services. There will be a celebration of life to be planned after the pandemic is over.
