He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Wortman and Marie Wortman (Johnson); and his sister Esther Wilton (Ralph). He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Wortman of Fairbury; his children, Sharon Heikes (Tom) of Tecumseh, KS and James Vinkenberg (Peter-John Sims) of Kansas City; his granddaughter Chelsea Douglas; his great grandchildren, Justin, Jaxson, Hunter and Thomas Douglas; and his sister Delores Fullerton of Hastings. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice.
