She was predeceased by: her parents, Leopold Richter and Nellie Richter (McKay) of Fairbury; her husband Jim; her sisters, Donna McLaughlin and Lovetta Carmichael; and her grandson Jeremy Thompson.

She is survived by: her sister Leslie Immel of Exira, IA; and her children, Dan Silvester (Kathy) of Crete, NE, Randy Silvester (Sheila) of Indianapolis, IN, Chris Silvester of Beatrice, Vicky Davis, Debra Asch (Jeff) of Hastings, NE, Marsheila Kerner (Greg) and Theo Joe (Larry) of Fairbury. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren.
