He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon; his parents, Clell and Lucille; and his sister JoAnne Milner. He is survived by: his children, Doug Chappell, Pam Chappell, Kipp Chappell and Bob Chappell of Kansas City; his grandchildren, Dillon Chappell of Houston, Cassidy Chappell, Andrew Shelton of Bennington, Trevor Meyer, Jen Richtarik of Fairbury, Shelby Pollman of Fairbury, Sidney Pollman of Fairbury, Beckett Chappell of Fairbury and Grady Chappell of Fairbury; and his brother Don Chappell of Burton.
