He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Johnson and Leona Johnson (McFarland); his wife Marilyn; and his siblings, Jim, Luther, Bill, Guy Jr. and Maxine.

He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Schmohr of Lincoln, Sherrie Johnson of Fairbury and Sandy Bulin (Jim) of Fairbury; his grandchildren, Ed Schmohr (Angie), John Schmohr (Amy), Anthony Bulin (Katie) and Tarilyn Bernal (Jason); his great grandchildren, Christian, Garrett, Riley, Amanda, Lance, Beau and Shipley; and his great great grandchildren, Michael and Aydan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
