He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Butcher and Patsy Butcher Dittmar. He is survived by: his wife Lori Hellbusch; his daughters, Stefanie (Butcher), Goforth (Chris Goforth) and Staci (Butcher); his grandchildren, Jude, Makenzie Goforth and Daisy Vo; and his sister Doris (Dodi) Jorgensen (Rob Craig). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
