He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Hynek and Mollie Hynek (Svarc); his daughter-in-law Dawn; his great grandchild Levi Hynek; his grandson-in-law Justin Kunc; and his sister-in-law Pat Hynek.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Henderson of Fairbury; his sons, Mick (Diane) of Endicott and Brad of Western; and his siblings, Adolph (Lorene) of Lincoln, Glenn of Lincoln and Sharon (Ervin). He is also survived by five grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
