Homer Leroy Ward Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, at the age of 92, Homer Leroy Ward of Fairbury, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Faye Edward Ward and Hildegard Charlotte Ward (Picker). He is survived by: his brother Roger Ward (Kay) of Albuquerque; his children, Doug Ward (Juli Warren-Ward) of Lawrence, Kansas, Diane Young (Doug) of Broomfield, Colorado and Dave Ward (Mandi) of Spencer, Iowa; his grandchild Sydney Whitehead (John); and his children, Ethan Ward (El Whitson), Isaac Ward, Grant Ward and Isla Ward.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home (2414 H St, Fairbury, NE 68352). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Fairbury Methodist Church (605 E St, Fairbury, NE 68352).
