She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rahe and Clara Rahe (Jordening); her husband Frank Rice; and her parents-in-law, John and Fleeta Rice.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Bedlan (Larry), Kathy Reedy (Dennis), Jane Loseth and Jim Rice (Linda Gregory) of Lincoln, NE.; her grandchildren, David Bedlan (Laura), Briana Bedlan, Sarah Harper (Doug) of Las Vegas, NV., Holly Melcher, Megan Peasley (Shawn), Nick Heitman, Melissa Oaks (Kevin), Beatrice, Abbie Harvey (Nick) of Edmond, OK and Annie Healey (Chip); her great grandchildren, Clara, Lydia Heislen, Samantha, Rayanne, Alecia Bedlan, Marcus Martinez, Paige Holland, Blake Peasley, Delilah Pflum, Addie Oaks, Jaxson, Tyson, Leah Harvey, Mason and Micah Healey; her sister Fern Sell; and her sister-in-law Pauline "Pat" Buss Rice. She is also survived by husband, children, grandchildren and a big extended family.
Memorials will go to Grace Lutheran Church and the Fairbury Baseball Association.
