He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna Durfee (Schuetz) and Lawrence Durfee; and his siblings, Mae Sokol (Durfee), Geri Nixon (Durfee) and Lawrence Durfee (Larry).
He is survived by: his daughters, Gina Christine (Guy O'Brien) of Omaha and Katie Marie of Fairbury; his sons-in-law, Guy O'Brien and Curt Parrack; his wife Gayle Durfee (Riggins); his daughter Marni Parrack (Curt) of Wilber; his grandchildren, Kellen Parrack, Malcolm Durfee O'Brien, Maura Durfee O'Brien of Omaha, Maya Durfee O'Brien of Bismarck, IL, Addison and Jonah Parrack of Wilber; his great grandchild Liam Parrack of Omaha; his sisters, Evelyn Georgi, Ruth Johnson of Fairbury and Shirley Fritz of Falls City; and his siblings-in-law, Andrea Durfee of Lincoln and Alan Riggins (Pat) of Lincoln. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and more friends.
To that end, in lieu of flowers, Ed directed memorials toward a new mobility van for the family.
