She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Shepherd and Lucy Slater; her brother Robert Shepherd; and her husband Clay Price Vaughn Jr.. She is survived by: her brothers, Enoch Shepherd (Judy) of Beatrice and Timothy Shepherd (Donna) of Wales, Massachusetts; her children, Jed Vaughn (Kristin) of Fairbury and Margo Compton (Greg) of Steele City; her grandchildren, Sarah, Adam, Joslyn, Grayson and Megg; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Asher and Bexley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
