It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice J. Bauer of Fairbury, Nebraska, who passed away on July 22, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Itzen and Renste Itzen (Onnen); her husband Ed Bauer; her sisters, Irene Husa and Loretta Spidalieri; her siblings-in-law, Barbara Itzen, Mary Itzen, Florence Bauer, Donald Bauer, Frank Husa, Thaine Maish and John Spidalieri; and her granddaughter Dorothy Jean Giles.
She is survived by: her children, Greg of Hebron, Gloria of Omaha and Eric (Patty) of Omaha; her grandchildren, Martin Giles of Lincoln and Alexandria Lindgren (Jacob) of Omaha; and her siblings, Anna Maish of Concordia Kansas and Donald Itzen of Fairbury.
