With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvie Ray Strickland of Fairbury, Nebraska, born in Claremore, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 11, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albie Strickland and Jessie Strickland (Millhollin); his grandson Cody Strickland; and his brothers, Kenny Strickland and Mike Strickland.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Patricia Hutchison of Fairbury; his children, Christina Neely of Chandler, Alex Strickland (Kathy) of Milford, Diana Strickland-Miller of Milford and Cynthia Strickland-Lorenzen of Lincoln; his stepdaughter Dee Schuerman (Curt) of Swanton; and his siblings, Norma Krause (Joe) of Wyandotte, Glenn Strickland (Velma) of Oregon, Donny Strickland (Mary) of Oregon, Ronny Strickland (Linda) of Oregon, Bobby Strickland (Sue) of Oregon and Lawanna Hayward of Oregon. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
