He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Miller and Rose Miller (Schwieger); his daughter Karianne; and his brothers, Miles, Ronald, Gene and Raymond.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Tegler; his son Jeff; his grandchildren, Zephen, Zoe, Zaiden, Haley and Tucker; and his brother Jerry of Omaha. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
