Mary Bourn Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Bourn of Ewing, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Nolan and Amy Irene Nolan (Loney); her siblings, Kay Birt (Jay), Betty Newsam (Tom), Sam Nolan (Wilma), Eileen Slechta (Dan), Margaret Drobny (Marvin), Bernice Hoffart (Vern), Bill Nolan and Jack Nolan; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Melcher, Don Bourn (Donna), Harvey Ray Bourn, Bob Bourn and Ken Bourn.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Bourn; her children, James (Elizabeth) of Alliance, NE and Deborah Tunink (David) of Lincoln, NE; her grandchildren, Luke Bourn (Lori), Eileen Hulquist, Travis Tunink (Haley) and Brice Tunink (Kate); her great grandchildren, Tyler Bourn, Aubrey Bourn, Gabe Hulquist, Brayden Hulquist, Brook Tunink, Lily Tunink and Sutton Tunink; her sister Pat Melcher; and her sisters-in-law, Colleen Nolan, Mary Fran Nolan, Merriellen Bourn and Lonna Bourn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. William's Catholic Church (262 Buckeye Rd, Niobrara, NE 68760). A rosary was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Brockhaus Funeral Home (253 Apple St #5, Niobrara, NE 68760). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. William's Catholic Church (262 Buckeye Rd, Niobrara, NE 68760).
