He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Braun and Helen Braun (Scripter); his grandson Colton; his brother-in-law Neal Madsen; his niece Kay Classen; his great-niece Aimee Melling; his great-nephew Andrew Schissler; and his nephew-in-law Chris Melling.
He is survived by: his daughter Angela Sayers (Joe) of Inman; his grandchildren, Evan and Grace Sayers of Inman; and his sister Bonnie Madsen of Burwell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
