He is survived by: his children, Wanda (Jeff Henning) of Clearwater, NE, Greg (Jennifer Potter) of Michigan City, IN, Alan (Carol Potter) of Ewing, NE and Rod (Judy Potter) of Tilden, NE.; his grandchildren, Christopher Steskal, Joshua Steskal, Zach Henning, Cory Potter, Haley Potter of Ray Potter, E. J, Chelsea Hurtig, Cortney Potter, Madison Potter, Matthew Potter, Breanna Potter and Bryce Potter; and his siblings, Ron Potter of Valentine, NE, Robert Potter of Irvin, TX., Roberta Williams and Floyd Potter. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
