He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lyle Dierks and Alys Dierks (Sanders); his wife Gloria (Zoeller) of Manhattan, KS; his children, Jon Dierks (Kim) of Lincoln, Tom Dierks of Lincoln, Chris Dierks (Suzanne) of Ewing and Stephanie Upp (Jerry) of Gering; his grandchildren, Emily Bart (Jordan), Nicholas Dierks, Brianna Dierks, Nathan Dierks (Chelsey), Alex Dierks, Brady Dierks (Ashley), Regan Dierks, Rachel Dierks, Kristen Klein (Brett), Megan Upp and Kyle Upp; his brothers-in-law, Gene Sprout of Redmond, WA and Paul Waters of Stockton, CA; and his sisters, Mary Alys Sprout and Sandra Ann Waters. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
