He was predeceased by: his parents, Derald McAtee and Sharee McAtee; his brother Nick McAtee; and his pet Ringo. He is survived by: his former spouse Ronda Cerveny; his children, Keicia McAtee Nicholson (Eric) and Scott McAtee (Amber); his wife Sharon McAtee of Broken Arrow, OK; his granddaughters, Traislynn (Cody), Hailie, Kenzie and Kaia; his great grandchildren, Carson and Atticus; his stepchildren, Charla Anderegg (Wade), Starla Griego (Jerry) and Jeremiah Holt; his grandsons, Blake, Bryce, Brandon and Jayce; his siblings, Chris Zabokrtsky (Steve), Dennis McAtee (Suzy), Tami Finke (Bruce), Mitch McAtee (Cheryll), Angie Johnson (Ric) and Linda Harris (Jeff); and his siblings-in-law, Donna McIntosh, Marv and Wayne Earlywine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Jefferson County Ambulance District #33 and/or Jefferson Community Health and Life Emergency Room in Fairbury.
