He was predeceased by: his parents, William Demke and Helen Demke (Anderson); his daughter Marykae Demke; his brother Willy Demke; and his brother-in-law Chuck Eriksen.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Hightree of Emerson, NE; his children, Robert Demke (Sharon) of Emerson, NE and Cindy Chester (Paul) of Belen, NM; his siblings, Norma Eriksen, Mary Ann Beacom (Jim) of Hubbard, NE and Bill Demke of Wayne, NE; and his grandchildren, Kristin Anderson (Jeff), Michael Emmons (Katie), Vanessa Emmons, Spencer Emmons, Nick Demke (Nikole), Brandon Chester, Abby Thapa (Tol) and Quinn Chester. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
