It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlan Hingst of Emerson, Nebraska, who passed away on November 20, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harland Hingst and Marie Hingst (Reher); his brother Rollan; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hingst and Judy Hingst.

He is survived by: his former wife Judith Larson; his wife Judy of Emerson; his children, Cathy Duncan (Tom) of Emerson, NE, Arlan Hingst (Bobbie) of Emerson, NE, Gaylen Hingst (Cindy) of Emerson, NE, Eileen Gaunt (Jay) of Omaha, NE, Kevin Hingst (Joni) of Emerson, NE, Delwin Hingst (Becky Clausen) of Hooper, NE, Marleen Hingst (Keith Morse) of Omaha, NE, Juleen Brand of Norfolk, NE and Kristine Christiansen (Mike) of Plainview, NE; and his siblings, Verlan Hingst (Vicky) of Allen, NE, Lelan Hingst of Concord, NE, Dennis Hingst (Ida) of Holdrege, NE, Reta Bodwell (Jim) of Pilger, NE, Diane Jensen (Dave) of Stanton, NE and Carolyn Sievers (Dean) of Holdrege, NE. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
